"Lots of emails, lots of emails"
They do send emails often, like, often. It can feel like a bit much sometimes, but they’re usually useful, so I don’t mind too much

"Support took forever to help"
I got really frustrated with how slow customer support was. I waited for days thinking someone would actually help me, but I still didn’t get any real solution. It felt like I was just being ignored the whole time.

"Not Comfortable Being Pushed to Review"
I’m not comfortable writing a fake or pressured review. If whoever runs this is asking people to do that, it really makes the whole thing feel sketchy.

"I ended up asking for a refund after..."
I ended up asking for a refund after deciding I didn’t really need the order after all, mostly because I was trying to clean up my budget that week. I did get the money back, but it took a few more days than I thought it would. Support was fine overall, not rude or anything, just not especially helpful or quick. It worked out in the end, but I wish the refund process had been a little smoother

"Way too much of my info was out there"
I wasn’t too thrilled to find my profile and personal details showing up so easily. Some of it looked outdated, but it was still just sitting there publicly, which felt uncomfortable. I kind of wonder if this info gets pulled from random old sources or shared around more than people realize, but who knows. The site does what it says, but I really don’t like how visible everything is or that I had to deal with it just to try to get stuff removed.

"Identity matches were off"
I tried it out and the identity matches were pretty much all over the place. It kept matching me with random people who didn’t seem connected to me at all, so it wasn’t really that useful.

Some of it matched well, and some of it just didn’t really line up, so overall it was kind of a mixed bag.

"Canceling was actually easy"
I signed up for mylife just to look into a couple things, and I was kind of expecting the cancelation part to be annoying, because that’s usually how these things go.

But it was straightforward. I found the cancel option without too much searching, went through the steps, and got the confirmation after. So yeah, it seemed like everything was handled fine.
I don’t really have a ton more to add, but I appreciated not having to call a bunch of times or argue with anyone. For me, that made the whole thing feel like a decent experience

"Reports take way too long to refresh"
I needed to check the latest numbers, so I opened my report expecting it to be updated, but it was still showing the same old data. I figured maybe it just needed a little time, so I came back a few days later, and nothing had changed. From my experience, if a report isn’t updating reliably, it makes it hard to trust or use for any real decision-making

At first I wasn’t totally sure what some of the charges were for?? The billing details could definitely be clearer, but I reached out to support and they helped explain everything quickly.

"Decent for a quick check, but not perfect"
I looked myself up on mylife.com and it was kind of a mixed bag. Some stuff was right, like a few old addresses and family connections, so my brain immediately went, “Okay, maybe this is useful.” But then I noticed other details were outdated or just flat-out wrong, which was frustrating. I’d say it’s fine if you’re using it as a quick shortcut to get a general idea, but I definitely wouldn’t take everything on there as fact without checking another source.

I regret buying this. I was hoping the search would make things easier, but the results were all over the place and not very helpful. After trying to use it a few times, I just kept feeling like I should’ve saved my money.

"Okay site, but the fees were annoying"
The site worked fine overall, but I was annoyed when extra fees showed up later. I felt like I had to dig around more than I should’ve just to figure out what I was actually paying, which made the whole thing more effort than it needed to be.

"Pretty Accurate Records"
I gave it 4 stars because the criminal record Info lined up with what I already knew. There was one old address that seemed kinda weird, so it wasn’t totally perfect, but overall it did Help me out.

"Took me way longer than it should have"
I tried using the site yesterday afternoon, and it was a bit frustrating from the start. I kept clicking around thinking I was going in the right direction, but then I’d end up on pages that didn’t really explain what I was looking at or what I was supposed to do next.

After about 20 minutes, the pop-ups and sign-up prompts started getting really annoying, especially on my phone where everything felt cramped and messy. I did eventually find what I needed, but it took way longer than I expected and wasn’t a smooth experience

"Charge got fixed, but I felt ignored at first"
I noticed a charge I didn’t approve and felt annoyed. When I reached out, it kind of felt like I was being ignored at first, which made it more frustrating. But they did end up canceling it and refunding me quickly, so I’ll give them credit for getting it sorted

"Reports Loaded Surprisingly Fast"
I went on mylife.com mostly to see how quickly the report would load, and I was pleasantly surprised. I expected it to drag a little, but it came up fast for me.
I didn’t have to keep refreshing the page or sit there feeling annoyed while waiting forever, which was a huge relief. Everything loaded smoothly enough on my laptop without any frustrating hiccups.
It’s a simple thing, but it really made the whole site feel much easier to use. I left feeling happy with the experience overall

"Pretty easy to remove my profile"
Removing my profile was easy. I just followed the steps, checked around a little bit to make sure I was doing it right, and got it done without much hassle. It took a little looking around, but not too much, and overall it was simple enough. I’m glad it worked and glad it was easy.

"Reputation score doesn’t really add up"
I looked up my MyLife page and the reputation score just felt kind of unfair. Some of the info seemed outdated or maybe mixed up with something else, but it still ended up making me look worse than I should. I get that they pull from public records and all that, but then the score itself feels random, and trying to figure out how to fix it is... not very clear. I wouldn’t say the site is terrible, but I definitely wouldn’t put much trust in that number.
